Previously owned and mechanically restored by the late Craig Barrett, The Vintage Triumph Guru
Mr. Barrett performed (but not limited to) the following mechanical restoration. He mostly used upgraded stock parts with a few present day tricks to ensure easy starting and reliability:
Disassembled the engine, balanced, installed new cylinders & pistons, new bearings and seals.
Valve job.
New Amal Carbs, Carbs have been sleeved.
Podtronics charging.
New Boyer ignition.
New coils.
New harness.
NOS rims.
All fresh cad plating.
Speedometer and Tachometer rebuilt.
Barnet clutch.
Euro head light lens (not the substandard WIPAC)
7.1 pistons.
New Battery.
New air filters.
Triumph Classic Motorcycles, Costa Mesa, CA, performed the following work:
New correct seat.
New correct style mufflers.
New reflectors.
New correct handlebars.
New front fork covers.
New Tires.
$2000.00 in correct cosmetic repairs (if it was slightly blemished, the part was either replaced, refurbished or repaired).
All sheet metal meticulously stripped, painted, color sanded and buffed to correct 1970 Triumph Bonneville paint codes and graphics, by Daniel of Irwindale, CA.
